Developing a flexible pandemic risk management plan to respond to local epidemics and global pandemics, the Pandemic Risk Management Plan; and
Timely implementation of the Pandemic Risk Management Plan in the event of an epidemic or pandemic outbreak.

Should large numbers of employees become incapacitated during an epidemic or pandemic, while Assure Project Consultants offices and sites will make every effort to remain open for business, it may become impossible or inadvisable to do so. Assure Project Consultants will follow the requirements of public health agencies, or local, state and federal governments in responding to a disease outbreak.
Official travel during a pandemic may be regulated to minimize the risk to travelers and to limit the infection spread within the Company as part of our comprehensive business pandemic preparedness strategy.
In all cases, the safety and health of our employees and their families will be Assure Project Consultants' primary consideration, supported by our workplace health safety pandemic plan.
Each senior management representative responsible for our operational areas, is accountable for:
The implementation of this policy together with the Pandemic Risk Management Plan and the allocation of adequate resources and facilities at the time of a pandemic;
Declaring a pandemic for Assure Project Consultants offices and sites in their area of operation and the decision to switch operations into Business Continuity mode; and
Ensuring compliance with Company travel restrictions during a pandemic.
Each manager responsible for our operational areas, is accountable for:
Implementing the pandemic risk management plan at the time of an epidemic or pandemic;
Following relevant Company or Government guidance to exclude contagious and potentially contagious employees who call in sick during an epidemic or pandemic;
Scaling the implementation in line with local impact of the epidemic or pandemic. This may require: Ensuring provision of appropriate hygiene supplies; Implementing additional cleaning; Requiring visitors, customers and other interested parties to comply with our Pandemic Risk Management Plan requirements; and Restricting access to Assure Project Consultants offices and sites in line with our Pandemic Risk Management Plan requirements.
Enacting the local Business Continuity plan when instructed to do so; and
Coordinating office reopening and staffing levels to minimize risk of cross-infection.
Following any Company or government restrictions or stay at home orders;
Ensuring they are fit for work when attending Assure Project Consultants offices and sites;
Ensuring that your contact details and emergency contacts are up-to-date in relevant HR systems;
Ensuring they wear appropriate PPE to minimize the risk of infection. Referring to Company or Government advice on what is considered appropriate PPE;
Isolating themselves from Assure Project Consultants offices and sites in the event they contract an epidemic disease or pandemic illness for the period they are contagious;
Ensuring they notify their supervisor or HR if they have contracted an epidemic disease or pandemic illness, or if they have been in contact with anyone who has;
Complying with Company or Government exclusion criteria designed to exclude contagious and potentially contagious employees from the workplace;
Complying with Company travel restrictions that may be issued during a pandemic;
Checking the pandemic status of locations prior to travel and limiting travel to locations with an active epidemic or pandemic to essential travel;
Isolating themselves from Assure Project Consultants offices for quarantine period following return from travel to an area with an active pandemic; and
Reporting episodes of epidemic disease or pandemic illness to their supervisor or Manager.
